I grew up in Miami, Florida, and later attended the University of Texas, where I earned a degree in Civil Engineering. After graduation, I moved to the Kansas City area, where I worked full-time while pursuing a Master’s Degree in Environmental Health Engineering at the University of Kansas.
In 1979, I relocated to Houston, where I lived until Hurricane Harvey prompted a move to Fayette County. My wife, Melanie, and I were married in 1999, and we shared many wonderful years together until her passing in 2022.
I have two adult children and four grandchildren, all of whom live in the Kansas City area.
Since 2017, I have been a member of Crosspoint Community Church. I had the privilege of serving as Executive Minister until 2022.
