Crosspoint Community Church became our church home in 2018 then I took the interim Office Manager position in the spring of 2023. We all know “there is no more permanent solution than a temporary fix” and I am still here (and I’m happy with that)! My husband, Mark, and I love our Crosspoint family and can’t imagine being anywhere else.
I grew up in Borger, TX, met Mark in high school, got married, went to college & graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Life Sciences then became a certified Medical Technologist. I worked in the Texas Medical Center then spent 20 years raising a family of four kids who are all grown up now and have blessed us with five grandkids. We moved to La Grange in the middle of all of that and never looked back. In La Grange, I worked at Tejas Health Care for ten years managing their practice software and then three years at St Mark’s Medical Center doing the same.
I came to know Christ when I was ten years old and have continued to grow in my faith in church, Bible studies like Beth Moore and Community Bible Study, para-church ministries, like FamilyLife, and even a little reading (thanks, Chris). I love teaching and leading whether it is with kids or adults. My Christian faith is the anchor that holds my boat steady in the storms of life. I continue to learn and grow and look forward to more adventures in my walk with Jesus.
