Missions at Crosspoint

Jesus tells His disciples they will receive power from the Holy Spirit, and they will be His witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8). We believe the same is true today. We are called to reach our city, our state, and our world.

Through Crosspoint Missions, you have the opportunity to share the good news with people in around the world. And because we partner with churches and organizations, the work we do on the ground continues after we come home. Working together, we get to see the Great Commission happening before our eyes (Matthew 28:18-20).

Hundreds of people have asked Jesus into their life during our trips abroad. But saying yes to missions won’t just change others — it’ll change you, too.

Mission trips transform the people who go as much as they help the people we serve. Seeing God work around the world will expand your understanding of who He is, how much He loves you, and the power of the Gospel.

Please see the tabs for more information on local and global missions efforts at Crosspoint. If you would like more information on any of these, or if you’re ready to jump in, let us know!

Second Chance Emporium

Second Chance Emporium (Second Chance) is a resale store in La Grange serving all of Fayette County. The resale store is run by a coalition of seven local churches representing different denominations. Second Chance accepts donations of items in good, working, usable condition from the public and resells them at very low prices in order to benefit the underprivileged members of our community. Profits from the sale of these items are distributed to local charities.

Disaster Relief

In 1998, the Colorado River flooded in the La Grange area and several houses in La Grange were flooded. Numerous people from Crosspoint went to the flooded area and helped people remove furniture and other household items as the floodwaters were rising. After the flooding was over, we also went to help people clean out their houses.Since that time, Crosspoint has developed a full-fledged Disaster Relief Team which has gone to numerous places in times of disaster to help in clean-up and ministry to those who have lost so much. If you would like to join this team, or have questions, please contact us.

Feed the Need

Crosspoint leads a community in providing a hot meal to those in need while sharing the love of Christ. Feed the Need Missions’ ministry is simply to feed people. We provide a hot meal on a weekly basis in communities across Texas. This weekly meal allows us to build long-lasting relationships and proclaim the love and message of Christ. Join us every Monday evening at the square in La Grange.
